Since being recruited to the Canadian Bobsleigh team from the Canadian Rugby team to fill in for the injured Kaillie Simundson this season, Heather Moyse has been an instant hit. In fact, the powerfully-built Moyse has helped propel Helen Upperton's sled into one of the best in the world.

In last November's Canadian Championships, the duo finished in first place, providing a glimpse of what was to come. In Moyse's first-ever World Cup race, on their home track in Calgary, the pair would earn a podium finish with a bronze medal. They would go on to win three more World Cup medals, including a gold at a race in St. Moritz, Switzerland, and a pair of silvers at Konigssee, Germany, and Igls, Austria.

Moyse is taking a year's worth break from her Masters studies in Occupational Therapy at the University of Toronto. During her time at the U of T, as well as during her undergraduate years at the University of Waterloo (studying kinesiology), Moyse was twice a CIAU and once a CIS All-Canadian in rugby.

Although it will be a race day decision to see who will compete with Upperton in Turin -- Simundson or Moyse --, some say it's hard to picture the coaching staff messing with what has been an amazing winning combination recently.
